    Prepare beef
  • Season beef chunks with Gino Peppe & Onion seasoning, and a portion of the ginger and garlic paste.
  • Allow the beef to marinate for at least 30 minutes to enable the spices to seep into the meat.
  • Steam the marinated beef until it is tender and fully cooked. Make sure to strain and keep the beef stock.
  • Sauté beef
  • In a large skillet, heat some vegetable oil over medium heat.
  • Add the cooked beef and sauté until it has a light brown colour. Set aside.
  • Create flavour base
  • In the same skillet, add the chunks of onion and sauté in the beef-infused oil until translucent.
  • Stir in the Gino Tomato Mix to the sautéed onions, letting the rich colours and aromas combine.
  • Blend tomato, pepper, carrot, onion, and bell pepper. Pour mixture into the skillet.
  • Simmer for approximately 20 minutes.
  • Pour in the reserved beef stock.
  • Allow the stew to simmer and reduce until it thickens to your desired consistency.
  • Season to perfection
  • Gently sprinkle the shrimp powder into the stew, enriching the flavours even further. Stir well.
  • Adjust the taste with salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Customise the seasoning to suit your personal preference.
  • Add beef
  • Add the sautéed beef to the skillet. Ensure that each piece is well coated with the stew.
  • Finally, add the fresh cut vegetables – carrot, green pepper, zucchini, and sliced onion. These will not only add a burst of colour but also provide a delightful crunch to the dish.
  • Simmer and serve:
  • Simmer for a few more minutes until the vegetables are tender yet retain their natural crispness.
  • Garnish stew with a sprinkle of fresh herbs for that extra touch of elegance.
  • Serve gourmet beef stew hot with your preferred side dish.
